Ancient Roman Game-
Earning XP- You must earn at least 200 XP per day or be sent to the salt mines!

TextBook Work
15 xp per word correctly defined in your own words
20 xp per Essential/Review question answered correctly and completely
30 xp per end-of –the-lesson question answered correctly and completely
30xp- Primary Sources (in the end of the book) about Ancient Rome
20-50xp – other textbook questions, depending on complexity and quality of answers
50-100xp per writing question
100xp-1000xp – Writing or Projects from the textbook

Ancient History- Romans-
25 xp- question answered correctly at end of story
800 xp- Making an Accelerated Reader Test for a story (You must have at least 50 AR points for the year to do this)
200 xp- Inputting AR test for a story
 Up to 100xp-passing AR test for a story or other short book about Ancient Rome(100 xp times percentage correct)
Up to 600xp- passing AR test for a chapter book about Ancient Rome

Art- XP depends on detail, accuracy and creativity (+50% bonus XP for a picture you researched independently) LABELS AND DESCRIPTIONS WILL GREATLY INCREASE THE XP REWARD.
30 to 100 XP- a picture of ancient Rome. 
50 to 150 XP- a diagram from ancient Rome.
100 to 600 XP- an art project requiring more than just drawing.
30 to 50XP each- finding pictures of art and artifacts on the internet from ancient Rome and describing them in your own words.
50-500 XP make a timeline of Ancient Rome.  Illustrate the events for more points.

MapMaking and Engineering-
100 to 400 xp- Making a map of the Roman Empire or the city of Rome
300 to 1000xp- Making a giant sized map of the Roman Empire or the city of Rome (you must make a small map first!)
30 to 50xp each- going on Google Maps or Google Earth, or looking through other modern maps and finding Roman landmarks in the city of Rome that you can still see today.
200 to 500 xp- Building a model of a Roman building.

Videos-  20-300XP depends on amount and quality of notes taken.  Fill out the California Streaming form COMPLETELY for double XP.

Games-
30-150 XP playing a Roman computer game and writing about it.
50-300XP finding a new Roman computer game for other students to play. (you must play it first!)

Gladiator-
Win a Gladiator Combat- 5% of your opponent’s XP (your opponent does not lose XP)
Making an easy, factual question from the textbook (include the page number where you can find the answer)- 20XP
Making an easy, factual question from another source (include the page number where you can find the answer)- 40XP
Making a hard question- 50XP
Making a challenge question- 80XP
